The food was excellent. I had the ribs (as per my usual) and was not disappointed. The portion could have satisfied an ogre, and the ribs just so happened to be all one can eat. There were many sauce options and rib options as well. But the menu does not stop at ribs, there is something for everyone, from salads to deserts and everything in between.

The service as mentioned above, was also very good. The only thing I didn't like at this restaurant is the price. Almost everything on the menu is overpriced, but it can be worth it for the quality of the food.

We have a Montana's in our home town which we enjoy with family and friends regularly, but after treatment such as this, I seriously question whether we will continue to frequent this business.

We were staying at a resort just outside the city of Kimberley and rather than serve us a few chicken wi gs and salad, we were directed to drive into town to dine. ...really???

I have and will continue to return to this lovely restaurant (once I save up enough) for another special occasion.

Huh. Never in my life would I have expected an internation chain restaurant to turn away my wife and I for a couple appies and drinks. That, shockingly, is exactly what happened at the Montana's restaurant in Kimberley, BC, even though I called ahead to see what time the kitchen closed. We arrived 30 minutes prior to kitchen closure, just the two of us, and were turned away because "the kitchen is understaffed and we just wouldn't receive the quality of service Montana's wants us to have." So...in this hostess' and Operator's opinion, NO SERVICE is better than slow service???

Went here at 2pm and the restaurant was full even though there was plenty of room. We went in the lounge and ordered food and the waitress told us it would be a 30 minute wait. It was 40 minutes when the nachos came out and there was almost no cheese. We said to the waitress if that was $20 worth of nachos and she said no and took it back. 10 minutes later it came back and it was a more reasonable amount of cheese but still light on the nachos (about 1 / 4 of a $3 bag of tortillas chips from the grocery store). Waitress was kind enough to take it off our bill, we protested saying it was tasty albeit small and we compromised with a discount.

The ambiance in the restaurant is what you would expect, a homey feeling with outdoorsy decorations. The view of the ski hill is also entertaining as one can get the free entertainment of watching skiers wipe out from time to time.

A great place to eat on a ski hill. I recently went in for my birthday and got to wear a funky hat while turning 15 shades of red to a song sang by the awesome waitresses working that night.

BOO! MONTANA'S. BOO. The operator of the establishment at Trickle Creek in Kimberley should be given a golden handshake and sent packing. Both Trickle Creek Lodge and Polaris Lodge were both booked to capacity and this clown doesn't have enough people in your kitchen? Great business accumen...

Had a 10 oz steak and a beer. The service was excellent and the food was very good. I asked for medium rare and that is what I got. What was odd was that the steak was cut into bite sized pieces. I didn't know my mom worked there.....

Fantastic flyer showing great food. What a surprise ! so very awful dare i note to relive the experience : dirty inside, scummy feeling while eating (sort of), food overcooked to the point there was no flavor, ridiculous over salting of mushy over-boiled soups. too ugly to go about the food. waitress was more interested in playing around at the bar area, constantly had to get up to get our own spoons and such. new menu way overpriced and limited selection. thank you for reading this - now you are aware, consider dining elsewhere.
